THE PAIN OF A SEA

Meera seghal was always an ambitious girl. She is twenty one, but often dreamt to become herself a very successful representative of cafeteria one day. Her sparkling Black Pearl eyes with long gleamy hair touching her elbow was enough for someone to fall for her. Alas! With no doubt, that happened. Within the days of joining her graduation, she fell in love with a typical monotonous countryside boy, Dhruv. It's been two years since they got into, but fortunately it turned out to be an unbroken,"going to break up" relationship where they fought for A-to-Z things of their life. He, being a country boy wants his girl under his patriarchal legacies, where she merely satisfies her dreams through the responsibilities of her nutshell. Meera couldn't make up with his impromptu conspiracies and try holding the relation by undervaluing herself Every time.

Later one day, she got an appointment letter from Mumbai to join for her dream job. As she expected Dhruv don't agreed with her and demanded her to make a choice between him or the job. This time she wasn't ready to sacrifice and so chose to pursue her dreams, instead her love. She was in pain but holding onto means letting him a chance to undervalue more. Later on that day she decided to meet her best friend to confess, her weigh hearted truths. "Ocean"ocean was her best friend. The granulate sand between her toes, the taste of salty air, the choppy waves, the brink smell of tides and the beautiful ripples had often helped her to deprive out from the pain.

But on that day she felt like the sea itself was in pain. she noticed that Every time when a wave tries to touch the bank some kind of force pulled it aback, not letting the wave to succeed. it felt like the sea had stood numb for her. she muster up her whole courage to shout, shout loud how she feels but like a horcrux, her voice felt unheard for it. she was celebrating her magnanimous narration of freedom but it seems like being caged had become her habit now and had loved its feeling more than anything which was not that easy to deprived off.

This is the first ever short story I wrote for myself. I just thought of telling you this story to show how I grew myself from those mistakes I made every time while writing. yes, I too had made blunders but I had always learned something from every these things and had always tried to not repeat it whenever I do write. Glad to share this story at the same time I wonder why I made an ocean her best friend maybe because Meera represents myself and an ocean is forever the most loved thing for me in this whole wondrous world or may be because an ocean can be compared to everything of life, every emotions, every pain can be its waves, every happiness can be its tides, every rage can be its ripples and as I said earlier everything of life is what an ocean is like.

        HOPING FOR A GOOD DAY
